Located on Main Street in Sayreville, New Jersey the proposed work included adding an entire floor as the master suite to an existing one-story house. The master suite includes cathedral type ceilings and a balcony cantilevering towards the rear swimming pool.  During construction as a solution for a complicated construction scenario steel plumbing pipe was installed for structural support.  The steel piping then later became the language and details for the ladders in the light wells at the basement, built by the client.
